Stielman Awards: Pietershof Nominated for 'Most Beautiful Façade'
We are proud to announce that our Pietershof project has been nominated in the 'Most Beautiful Façade' category at the prestigious Stielman Awards. This project, developed on the site of the former Zwarte Zusters clinic in Ypres, masterfully combines urban renewal with architectural sophistication.
A Unique Masterpiece of Craftsmanship
Pietershof consists of two residential blocks with 52 and 18 apartments, connected by an underground parking facility. The façade, crafted with a yellow-brown nuanced brick, seamlessly blends with the historic color palette of Ypres. Vertical masonry planes and architectural precast balconies enhance the elegance and depth of the design. "Executing 1,700 square meters of precast balconies to perfection was a challenge," says project manager Frederik Roose. Thanks to close collaboration with Verhelst and attention to detail, we were able to create terraces overlooking a lush inner courtyard.
