Bellemolen

Affligem, Bellemolen Affligem, Bellemolen

This historical farmstead in East Flanders is perhaps best known for its past as Bellemolen Restaurant (with 2 Michelin stars), once the favorite dining spot of the royal family. The building itself dates back to 1149 and was classified as a heritage site in 1985.

After several years of vacancy, we were commissioned in 2019 to restore the site. Our scope of work includes the restoration of the entire enclosed structure.

The site consists of five buildings, each of which we restored under the supervision of heritage authorities. In addition to stabilizing the foundation, we also restored the facades and roofs.
