Church Gertrudis
With artisanal precision and reverence for the past, we restore this church to its former glory. Natural slates are carefully replaced, while copper cladding and drains add a gleam of sustainability. Weathered wooden roof structures give way to Oregon oak, and the characteristic spire tower is renewed in authentic oak.
Each stone breathes history, and thus weathered facade masonry is restored in hand-formed and field stone. Our dedication extends beyond superficial restoration; with an eye for detail, we replace inset beam heads and wood structures of eaves, and repoint with natural hydraulic lime for a timeless result. Within the walls of this venerable church, the past is revived. Plaster affected by salts yields to a new, salt-buffering plaster.
From windows to doors, every element is painted with care. And because safety is paramount, a new lightning protection system is installed, ensuring this centuries-old treasure remains protected for generations to come.
