De Halve Maan

It was a challenge to completely dismantle a building and deliver it move-in ready to the client within a period of 9 months.

In early 2016, the old offices of the Half Moon were dismantled. The spaces of an old residential house on the upper floors were completely opened up by supporting the load-bearing elements with steel beams. The finishing work began in April, and custom-made furniture was installed in June. The project was completed in September 2016.

The design had a special touch with the panorama, an extension on the rooftop made of spider glass. The furniture was entirely custom-made, using oak wood for the interior joinery and furnishings. The combination of herringbone parquet, ceramic tiles, and a brass floor gives each room a different color and ambiance.
