Verstraete.team sees students as 'young potentials'
In the search for new workers, the West Flemish companies pull out all the stops. Verstraete.team focuses radically on the student population. In the coming days, 500 students are expected for a pragmatic company visit. We have a tradition that goes back to the nineteenth century.
We are coming up with a special initiative on the occasion of Open Company Day. Our company invites the schools for an interactive tour. “All schools that were contacted for this accepted the invitation,” says Francis Verstraete. “Nearly 500 pupils and students come to the 3 Open Verstraete days that take place on Thursday 30/09 and Friday and Monday 1 and 4 October.
The VTIs from Ypres, Izegem, Roeselare and the colleges from Bruges, Ostend, Aalst, as well as the construction instructors from the VDAB, will soon all be heading to Roeselare for a training day where we want to introduce the guests to our age-old roots and our vision of construction. One theme is central: the importance of teaming and being part of a close-knit team.”
