Fire station

The new fire station, commissioned by the City of Waregem in collaboration with the Fluvia emergency zone, replaces the 45-year-old station in Waregem and the station in Desselgem, which has been in use since 1979. The project accommodates around 50 firefighters.

Located at the intersection of Gentseweg and Expressweg in Sint-Eloois-Vijve, this gem stands out with its architectural concrete façades and aluminum-clad surfaces featuring integrated gates.

The 4400 m2 of concrete floors serve as space for parking all service vehicles, training grounds, washing area, and exit routes.

Verstraete.team was responsible for the prefabricated structures, installation of architectural concrete, roofing, all exterior carpentry, complete exterior landscaping, and full interior finishing (excluding technical installations).
